Turner died in his home outside San Diego, according to the report. No other details were immediately available. Born and raised in Clarksdale, Miss., Turner was inspired by the old blues artists and embarked on a musical career of his own beginning in the late 1940s. He later met Anna Mae Bullock, aka Tina Turner, and they developed a hugely successful act together. She would also become his wife. The couple's often tempestuous relationship was detailed in Tina Turner's biography, which was the basis for the movie What's Love Got to Do with It? The pair split in the 1970s. Alongside his former wife, Turner was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991. Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-12-2007 I must say...you're rather "ghoulish" for a chick with nice tits. Almost all death notices in this thread are posted by you. I bet you make sailor boy choke you too, don't you? Re: Death pool 2007 - drusilla - 12-13-2007 maybe Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-13-2007 Five minutes into it...my day is already made. Re: Death pool 2007 - drusilla - 12-14-2007 yeah so, the daily news had the best headline: ike turner, 76, couldn't beat death LOLLLOLOOOLLOLOOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOOL11!!! Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-14-2007 I have a suggestion for you and then I'll drop it. So next time the boat hits the home port, tell him to take you out for a drive, direct him to dark secluded cemetary, and then fuck like zombies. Given the chance of you having these "unique" preferences, I just thought I'd put that out there for you in case you didn't think of it already nor have scratches and scrapes on your ass from the tombstone you were on last night...if that might be the case. Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-16-2007 $5,000! $5,000! Re: Death pool 2007 - The Jays - 12-31-2007 So can lush pick up her DIG-autographed one dollar bill in person? Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-31-2007 Sure. If she blows me and spits my goo in your face. Listen: NEVER. You will NEVER meet me. None of you disgusting smelly retarded people wil ever ever meet me. EVER. So yeah... she can PM me the addy if she wants and I'll mail it on out. Re: Death pool 2007 - Gooch - 12-31-2007 meeting mysteriously/anonymous/mental-case board people is highly overrated. Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-31-2007 The NHL is a disgrace. Good move. Re: Death pool 2007 - Gooch - 12-31-2007 thanks! did you watch the UFC PPV, btw? Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 12-31-2007 Read my blog...or better yet...YOUR OWN FUCKIN BOARD Re: Death pool 2007 - Gooch - 12-31-2007 oh. oops. Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 01-06-2008 Since the Jays has picked up the slack here I have lost track of things. It appears that lush wins with the 100-minus points things and Faceman (though a ghost himself) won with the number of correct picks thing? Is that the deal or does lush have a couple of other correct picks other than Anna Nicole? Re: Death pool 2007 - The Jays - 01-06-2008 I'm pretty sure lush wins with just Anna Nicole. I know we didn't add in the last few guys, like Kineval for Gonzo. Re: Death pool 2007 - diceisgod - 01-06-2008 Though "half-assed", your "taking the initiative" is still appreciated. |
