I ended up switching from a night elf to human. Night Elves just got to be annoying after the 3rd hour of playing it.

i can only look you up if you are on my server. chances are they threw you elsewhere..you can always choose servers. Bloodhoof is one of the old school ones...been there since the start.

any updates by my fellow MMORPG geeks?
WoW's Burning Crusade Expansion pack is delayed till Jan 2007.

I've been on it since Dec of 2004 playing casually. These days I play PVP (inter-server warfare) thru Battlegrounds when i get spare time early in the AM or late evenings. (i think you can do these from level 20 and up). PVP Battelground is one of my most favorite things.
I do end-content RAIDS every so often with my guild of all uber players who play a lot more, and have all sorts of multiple characters. My brother and I play our one players, and despite our limited time..we do pretty well for ourselves.

I found a free-online game called myth-war. It's a FF7 type game where you go on quests, run into creatures and fight them ATB style, ala FF7. It's not bad so far

Im stuck on how to do professions and shit on this fucking game. Like right now Im really high in skinning, but I don't know how to do Leatherworking or First Aid or anything like that.
Help please ?

honestly...i'm a rarity. I refused to ever do a profession to a game where i go home and play after working each day. fuck that. but i got away with a lot. you need a profession to make money within the economics down the line.
First Aid for you is a MUST. I got away with it b/c as a Paladin, i could heal myself anyway

yeah so i got WoW off torrents, but the free servers are dead.
any way i can get on the bloodhoof or any other more popular server?
i dont mind paying if i have to, but if i can get on with this one i've got loaded already, i'd like to try and give it a shot.

i don't really know anyone who got WoW free, b/c you need to be in their system to logon live. They are selling WoW for only $19.99 in a lot of place now. Jew up the money, Keysey.
Once you have loaded the sucker up, you can pick a server to play on before making a character. They MIGHT try to swing you to one of the newer ones, but the older ones I'm sure are possible. Thing is, our server can be full at times...so not sure what rules are for a newbie to get on it, honestly. If Bloodhoof doesn't work: Good people are on the Eitrigg server. Look up the name: Diplomat there, and tell him Whiskey sent you. Just a guy I know who could be helpful if you have questions (within reason). Eitrigg server should have room if Bloodhoof doesn't. Lots of some old Bloodhoof server people moved there when the server transfers opened.
Server transfers: you can always pay $25 and transfer a character to a server of choice. Not sure the min. level, could be as low as 10 or so. You can get 10 levels pretty quick. They only get harder and slower to level up after that.

also: knowing you, Keyser, you'll like playing the Horde better. more adult people, less nitwits. Most enjoy playing Horde over Alliance. Try a Troll or Undead Rogue, perhaps.
