mediocre ppv. randleman was disappointing. fedor could have ended the fight with coleman much sooner. it was obvious he was avoiding knocking him out. barnett who i love was mediocre. eh, pretty crummy all together. the wanderlei announcement confuses me. is the fight actually going to take place or what?

DIG's reccomendations are worthless now as well, great.

most of the undercards were better than the bigger name fights. the main event was a waste of time. shogun is incredible though. most of the pride people i would want to see didnt fight anyway. hunt, crocop, aleksander emelianenko, arona, nog, wanderlei. instead we get butterbean vs a former wwf midcarder.

Wanderlei and PRIDE are trying to get traction to make a fight happen, but previously PRIDE balked originally back when there was supposed to be a Nov fight. The problem is between the two promotions, so I'm doubtful its anything substantial. With Silva getting his head kicked in by CroCop (Fedor's true competition and a rematch I CANNOT wait to see), his stock and thus PRIDES advantage has dropped. Liddell, on the other hand, punch Babalu's (a very good fighter) block off on his hit parade...which will culminate with Tito Ortiz rematch in Dec. Liddell/UFC is in the drivers seat, but PRIDE/UFC being able to hash out a deal...doubtful.

Prides PPV wasn't very good...and THEY NEEDED TO KILL. Not a smart business plan or PPV matchup...and the problem is with PRIDES braintrust. UFC, if anything, have been brilliant in matchups and MOST, not all, PPV. Only few stinkers..but when its a ratings buster, they know how to put one together (Couture vs Liddell, TUF 3, Resigning Ortiz, etc)

Maybe it wasn't as great as it was hyped to be but you should get on the bus, gus. MMA is where it's at. Fedor definitely lived up to all his hype that I've heard about him. The guy is a monster. Get into it!

fedor is great but did anyone really expect an over the hill fighter in mark coleman to even put up a fight? the post fight was more entertaining than the fight. DADDY IS OK.
