This team is awful, no doubt, and they were getting embarrassed, not by the 20 points and full on press by the starters of the Nuggets, but because Smith had just reverse dunked on them the possesion before, and the crowed got excited. Then Isiah, who's already pissed at the fans for booing his team, gave the order to send a message to them to not try to showboat on his home court. It's not the flagrant that really got shit started, it was Nate, who is half a retard to begin with, going all thug out on the Nuggets and tumbling into Spike Lee's seats, and the drop-out Anthony acting like a douche pushing guys out of the way by their throats. And then he clocked the dumbass rookie who pulled the same shit the game before, and ran away like a bitch who just got in a cheap shot.
And to say that there was no rivalry to begin with between the teams, first game of the season was a triple overtime win by the Knicks on the Nuggets home court, so of course the Nuggets were gonna make sure to embarass the Knicks as much as they could.
