Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - diceisgod - 11-17-2007 Quote:I'd replace wanda with Spies Like Us! You must be ka-ka-ka kidding. Kevin Kline's one and only GREAT role. Amazing up and down though. I enjoyed Spies but in my book not even close. Capt Ron on the other hand...well I'm a sucker for pirates but that's another category for me so inapplicable. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - diceisgod - 11-17-2007 At bottom is the information we have thus far. I will knock one of these bastards off right now or this contest is a fraud and we the fools: Who's Harry Crumb? (1989) Harry and the Hendersons (1987) When Harry Met Sally... (1989) Let's Get Harry (1986) Tom, Dick, and Harry (2006) How Harry Met Sally... (2000) Deconstructing Harry (1997) Quote:Straight-forward (and possibly a 1-to-1 mapping?) Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Bloody Anus - 11-17-2007 No, stupid. You completely misunderstood hint #3. I said that the name of the main character is in the movie title. I never said this name was Harry. Based on this information and the rest of the hints, I pretty much just gave away one of them. If you don't get this now, you're just not trying. I listed the genres in the order I watched the movies in and obviously the years chronologically. You did get 2/4 right though in your mapping. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Bloody Anus - 11-17-2007 Oh yeah, Captain Ron is a very good guess (though not close to anything) and a very good movie. I remember masturbating to Martin Short's daughter, who apparently is Jeremy Sisto's sister. How about that. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Bloody Anus - 11-17-2007 Now DIG will misinterpret that post and start spreading the rumor on all his messageboards that Martin Short is Jeremy Sisto's biological father. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - diceisgod - 11-17-2007 I got 6 windows dowloading 500M of porn, I'm juggling two death threats, I got no fucking cigerettes left...I'd say I did quality job under the circumstances....geez Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Bloody Anus - 11-17-2007 You did do a quality job copying and pasting those hints, I can't deny that. And "misunderstand" is not accurate as I merely guessed one of the several logical conclusions one could draw....harrrrumph Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Galt - 11-18-2007 So I finally ended up getting in HDTV cable box to match my HDTV. Holy Shit, HDTV is amazing. I will watch the most boring shows on earth just because they are in HD. I was watching some show called Sunrise Across the Earth or something like that where it's exactly what you think. They just put a few cameras in random cities around the planet and film dawn. I'd watch paint dry in HD Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Mad - 11-18-2007 Fucking rube. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Galt - 11-18-2007 I still haven't finished SOCOM II Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Mad - 11-18-2007 SOCOM is dead to me, until they figure out the lag and network issues. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - diceisgod - 11-18-2007 Holy shit I forgot all about SOCOM. Amazing game that I was reaching near prodigious levels. Never played the 2nd though I bought it - still in plastic I think if it's not tossed. Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Bloody Anus - 11-19-2007 70s (Comedy) 80s (Action) 90s (Horror) 00s (ComDra & ActionSciFi) Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Galt - 11-19-2007 The Jerk Rambo III Embrace of the Vampire Billy Elliot Pitch Black Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - Bloody Anus - 11-20-2007 Here, I'll merge the hints: 70s (Comedy): Couldn't have had a female on screen for more than 5 minutes. 80s (Action): Watched the sequel, has the name of the main character in the movie title, close to Rocky 6, closer to Rambo III, no female characters, if you don't get this now you're just not trying. 90s (Horror) 00s (ComDra) 00s (ActionSciFi): is a sequel Re: I watched 5 (five) movies yesterday - diceisgod - 11-20-2007 Ok I think I have one as I have seen it on the tv scroll thing many times but no interest really. Also (according to wiki) it concerns sports/football (ie. you're a gambling degenerate) and it's about male prison & prisoners (ie. no chicks): The Longest Yard ('74)....?? |
