First, the biggest threat in India/Pakistan is that the Islamic generals in Pakistan will use this situation to stage a coup and take over the country with the help of Al Queda. Then they will just hand over radioactive materials to Al Queda to be used for terrorist attacks.
Second, I refuse to beleive ignorance is bliss, Kid. There is ALWAYS something we can do. Like get the fuck out of the way, demand the government revamp their policies (like restructuring the FBI) to better face this threat, voting for politicians with good policies and then making sure they follow through on their promises, etc.
Sorry, but sitting in your house (cave) and saying you can't do anything about the world (threat from the gods) so why care is just living in lazy denial.

2) We can forgive Canada for Kids in the Hall for we have extracted practically all of there professional hockey teams, but we cannot forgive them for Celine Dion no matter how many Molson's export.
3) This situation is closer to the head then just a bunch of missiles in Turkey. It is coming and coming fast. If it happens, well then, maybe all the tree huggers will appreciate just how sane and earth frendly this side of the planet is (not including Ireland).
