- Teenweek - 08-24-2002 I don't like the Eagles but they came just short of going to the Super Bowl last year and from everything I read there most improved player is Donovan McNabb. That's scary and that is why I picked him as my starting QB for my fantasy team. I had the 10th pick. - Ken'sPen - 08-24-2002 pre season hype is never in short supply coming out of Philly. - Ken'sPen - 08-25-2002 Nice job of Tiki jogging toward the end zone.... I hope he didn't get hurt too bad.... - Teenweek - 09-04-2002 Redskins will be in last place. Even the Cowboys will have a better record. - Ken'sPen - 09-04-2002 now you are just being silly Teenweek, the skins offense will be fine this year...... their defense will be nasty, - diceisgod - 09-05-2002 In less than 24 hours I will be drunk and watching FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!! That beaner QB on San Fran better throw at least four td's...every game. - Ken'sPen - 09-08-2002 didn't see the game, but based on the box score a dominating performance by the Skins with so many new players and coaches this is a team that will get better as the season goes along....... be afraid. - The Sleeper - 09-08-2002 OMG THEY BEAT THAT POWERHOUSE THE ARIZONA CARDINALS!! I'M SHAKING IN MY PANTIES!!!@! - fbd - 09-08-2002 i miss arizona being in the nfc east...it was always 2 gauranteed wins a year - criticslovesnatch - 09-08-2002 the powerhouse skins could only beat the cardinals by 8? with an effort like that even the giants would beat them. - Ken'sPen - 09-09-2002 Skins and Eagles next monday night........ Big put up or shut up game for both teams.... I hope Trotter gets to spend a lot of time with some old team mates. - LyricalGomez - 09-09-2002 Quote:Redskins will be in last place. Even the Cowboys will have a better record. Still feel that way after seeing their first real games? - Teenweek - 09-10-2002 I'm a Giants fan and I think the whole division sucks. I am being realistic. I am expecting nothing from the Giants this year. I would be ecstatic to finish with a 9-7 record, more likely a 7-9 though. Both the Redskins and Cowboys will finish below .500 as well. It's amazing how far this division has fallen. The Eagles will beat the redskins by at least 2 touchdowns next week. - Ken'sPen - 09-10-2002 Teenweek I truly think you are mad.... I expect the Skins will have a learning curve this year but when I look at the roster I see a GOOD team... tell me where I am wrong. On D they have a serviceable line, An Allstar linebacking crew. Allstar corners in Baily and Smoot and decent Safeties and nicklebacks (Green) On Offense they have a good O-Line and Allstar running back good Tight ends at least one star reciever and a quaterback who is showing he knows the system. I fail to see a bad team in that mix. - LyricalGomez - 09-10-2002 I don't have huge expectations for the Redskins, but for people to flat out say they suck is just not true...Look at the defense...Just go up and down the defensive roster, easily one of the most impressive in the league.... - Teenweek - 09-10-2002 Their offense is terrible that's why. Stephen Davis's best years are behind him. Shane Matthews is not a good Quarterback. Let's see him come close to doing that against the Eagles. And Gardner is the only player you have who resembles a wide receiver. Do you honestly see yourself making the playoffs this year or having an over .500 record. At best I see the redskins being right where the Giants are at 8-8, 7-9. - Ken'sPen - 09-10-2002 Quote:Stephen Davis's best years are behind himwithout checking stats.... didn't he lead the nfc in rushing last year..... I will take what he has left. and you WILL know the name Darrius Thompson before the year is done.... I might know it too, I think I just mispelled it.
