- crx girl - 03-24-2002 ok, i'm starving, anyone wanna bring me a pizza? - Tenbatsuzen - 03-24-2002 What You Want On This Pizza? - Tenbatsuzen - 03-24-2002 Speaking of which, you can tell that Pizza Hut is authentic Italian food, using an African-American spokesperson. At least Olive Garden TRIES to look legit. The "P'Zone" scares me. Best chain pizza: Papa John's. - kindred - 03-24-2002 Quote:Best chain pizza: Papa John's Papa John's is the worst pizza out here...Hardly edible and hardly any toppings on it. The best pizza is from a little hole in the wall Italian restaurant a few towns over. They don't put capers and crap on their pizza's. - barch97 - 03-24-2002 Gotta agree... Papa John's rocks but, I'm still gonna have to go with the calzone. - Luna - 03-24-2002 Goodfella's Brick Oven Pizza. :hungry: - Brokenjaw - 03-24-2002 LunaBabe Wrote:Goodfella's Brick Oven Pizza. :hungry::pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: - The Sleeper - 03-24-2002 Why get any chain pizza when there are so many good independent pizza places around? Doesn't seem logical. Manhattan has at least 2 good pizza places on every block. - barch97 - 03-25-2002 Gotta slum it once in a while. Makes ya appreciate the good stuff that much more. You guys really gotta try a calzone someday. - Galt - 03-25-2002 The best pizza is Bertucci's. Hands down, no comparison. Best pizza franchise out there. Brick Oven Pizza. Fucking sweet. Papa Gino's in a close second as their Cheese pizza is amazing, yet their toppings are kind of assy. Bertuccis Pollomatch (Bar-B-Q chicken) is worth murdering for, and the Marego (chicken and pepper) is also quite tasty. Top if off with their fresh rolls, and you got yourself a carb-loaders fantasy. - crx girl - 03-25-2002 i get my pizza from a little hole in the wall on the corner, but as far as chains go, i really miss papa john's. i didn't know they even had them up here. i liked it for the peppers and dippy sauce lurp: - Kingpin - 03-25-2002 Galt, you from Long Island?????? - Keyser Soze - 03-25-2002 Best pizza in the world, L&B Spumoni Garden in Brooklyn. - fbd - 03-25-2002 Keyser Soze Wrote:Best pizza in the world, L&B Spumoni Garden in Brooklyn.i could not agree more.my aunt is about 3 blocks from there, which makes her the only relative i look foward to seeing - Luna - 03-25-2002 Keyser Soze Wrote:Best pizza in the world, L&B Spumoni Garden in Brooklyn. What part of Brooklyn is that? - Keyser Soze - 03-25-2002 Bensonhurst. Theres nothing else like L&B. There are some amazing places to get italian food down in Little Italy of course but L&B is a true gem in Brooklyn for casual pizzaria style food. The sicilian slices are like no other. The place is a 62-year-old landmark. They're famous for their square pie (light, crunchy crust with a bare minimum of mozzarella cheese under a layer of tomato sauce) Try a paper cup of the house spumoni. Its been described as American Graffiti meets GoodFellas. Edited By Keyser Soze on Mar. 24 2002 at 8:11 - Luna - 03-25-2002 Keyser Soze Wrote:Bensonhurst. Theres nothing else like L&B.
