Hedcold is coming up with them as we speak

- Sir O - 05-01-2004

My answers to question #3 don't matter now

- Sir O - 05-01-2004

Bring it on...I do know Sleeper knows his baseball...I just know more than he does

- The Jays - 05-01-2004

Prelimnary analysis of each poster based on the answers above.

Sir O has at the least a basic knowledge of pitching statisical history, and probably has advanced knowledge of baserunning statistics. His conceptual and theoretical understanding of the rules of the game allows him to have a better appreciation of the game. He does not, and possibly never has, attend(ed) Yankees stadium during the Yankees dominant era of the late twentieth, early twenty first century. He has, at the very least, a basic knowledge of hitting statistical history, more specifically of home runs. He does not, at the very least, read any posts of The Jays in the Sportscenter forum of CDIH.

4.4 out 9 questions on the practice test is still a failing grade.

Here's a question you might have fun with:

Put together a team (one player at each position) comprised only of players that won back-to-back MVP Awards. OF positions are interchangeable and you can have a DH. Only one pitcher is necessary. No cheating!

OF: Bonds, Maris, Mays
1B: Thomas
2B: Banks
SS: Ripken
3B: Schmidt
C: Berra
DH: Mantle

Pitcher. No idea. Walter Johnson? Did they have MVP then? I know a bunch of pitchers have won back to back Cy Youngs.

There's only three of these people that I'm sure about. Most of them I just picked the best player at that position.

Galt - not bad. You got 7, sort of.

Also, no the pitcher isn't Walter Johnson. Actually I'd be shocked if anyone gets him without cheating.<!--txtEnd--><!-- spoilerKillit --></td></tr></table><!-- spoilerKillitEnd -->

And the MVP was given out from 1911-1914, then from 1922 to present - but in 22, 23, and 29 it was combined for both leagues
