At the Suncoast I had Min/Sea over 51.5, TB +5.5, and Ari -6.5.
I was pretty confident with the Seattle game, being 21-20 at the half and 24-23 with 5:00 left in the 3rd all I needed was a TD the last 20 min to win. Of course, Mike Tice is a FUCKING MONGOLOID and this didn't happen. Granted, there were plently of opportunites for both teams to score, but calling a WR pass at that point in the game is, well, Jet-like.
mY SPortsbook.com bet was Cin/NE over 44 (not AVAILABLE on the Suncoast card), NYJ/Pit under 35.5, and, naturally, Det/GB over 44 (also not on the Suncoast card)
Some thoughts on Det/GB (since you asked)
-GB goes their first 9 and out.
-in 28mph winds the opening kickoff goes 28 yards
-Favre does not complete a pass until about half-way through the 2nd quarter
-GB's first first down comes via a penalty with about 10:00 left in the 2nd
-in the 3rd quarter, on 3rd and long at the GB 35, Harrington throws an INT returned by Sharper to the 50. Play is challened and reversed, so Detroit punts. FUCK! But, it is downed at the 1. OK! So Det's defense needs to force a 3-and-out to force a punmt leading to excellent Det field positon. Det's defense does just that, but hte punt gores.. 64 YARDS!! fielded at the GB 27!! AFTER THE OPENING KICKOFF goes 28 yards and a later punt goes 23, this FUCKIG |PUNT goes 64!>?!?!? I'm assuming it was going with the wind, but I was watching on line and ESPN sucks with these kinds of details, so I'm not 100% sure.
-On a separate GB drive, something happened that I have NEVER before seen in my 12 or so years of watching the NFL: Detroit gets called for 5 penalites for 55 YARDS, ON ONE DRIVE!! ONE DRIVE, MORE THAN HALF THE FIELD GIVEN TO YOU VIA PENALTIES!!! so waht happens?? Packers end up kicking a FUCKING FIELD GOAL!!! HOW THE FUCK DO YOU GET 55 YARDS OF P[ENALTIES ON ONE DRIVE AND HAVE TO SETTELE FOR A FIELD GOAL??!!
I'll tell yuou how: because I HAD MONEY ON IT!! Not alot of money, but money nonetheless!
Since I have gone 0-3 for about 5 of the last 6 weeks (too lazy to check), this week I will bet $2 on 1 3-teamer and $3 on the complete opposite, guaranteeing I will go 1 for 3 on one and 2 for 3 on the other. I now have 3 weeks lefy to win a parlay and no matter what I do, it is looking pretty grim.
