- Galt - 10-22-2004 <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb....onpicks">http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb....onpicks</a><!-- m --> pretty much everyone who works for ESPN predicted the outcome of the playoffs before they started. Neyer, Kurkjian are the only ones who have gotten all series correct so far. Both of them also picked the Sox to win the WS and Schilling to win WS MVP. Ridge, Sickels, and McAdam all ended up with the Sox and Cards, but got other series wrong. McAdam & Sickels had the Cards. Ridge had the Sox. - GonzoStyle - 10-22-2004 I think the majority of people even I believed that if the sox were gonna win any year this was gonna be it cause our pitching fuckin blew!! But on top of that the hitting fuckin collapsed after game 3, so they beat us outright massacred us in game 7. Games 4 and 5 were extra inning battles and the sox bested them in both and proved they were the team who had the little extra needed to pull it out. But basically the fact they finally won doesn't mean the yankees are the worst team ever, we lost in 7 games we sweeped 3 they sweeped the final 4 and won the extra game, the yanks collapsed especially the 3-5 hitters who we depended on. - IrishAlkey - 10-22-2004 Well, I should work for ESPN since I've predicted everything exactly up to this point. Go me. - HedCold - 10-22-2004 GonzoStyle Wrote:I think the majority of people even I believed that if the sox were gonna win any year this was gonna be it cause our pitching fuckin blew!!if you read that with couple of coughs every few words it sounds just like something Deloras (was that her name?) from Rego Park would recap on wfan - The Sleeper - 10-22-2004 Doris - Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004 sleepers neighbor - The Sleeper - 10-22-2004 I just saw her on the elevator - Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004 i thought she was dead? - The Jays - 10-22-2004 But I'm glad that a group of players who've been together for so long and been through so many seasons as Red Sox finally got over that AL hurdle of this gaggle of free agents and trades that are the Yankees. - Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004 (screen.width/2)){this.width = (this.width/2)}" onclick="javascript:if(this.width > (screen.width/2)){this.width = (this.width/2)} else {this.width = (this.width*2)}" border="0" alt='Posted image: Click to resize'> - The Jays - 10-22-2004 Again with the purse, what is that suppose to mean? - Keyser Soze - 10-22-2004 All thats missing is A-Rod shouting "That's my purse! I don't know you!" a la Bobby Hill. - diceisgod - 10-22-2004 Boston is very dangerous. If I was the Cardinals I would keep an EYE on them......BOOM!!! - The Jays - 10-22-2004 Bobby Hill of the Pirates has a purse? - GonzoStyle - 10-22-2004 I think it plainly states that a rods move was bitch like and to be fair if it was david ortiz or someone who did it I would definitly be the same way. Honestly even as a yankee fan I must admit it was a really bitchy move, especially how he very faggy like slapped at his hand. - diceisgod - 10-22-2004 Eye don't like him. - The Sleeper - 10-22-2004 A Rod is the worst - GonzoStyle - 10-22-2004 Yeah but it was great to see how far the rangers fell after they lost the mvp, oh ma... I WANT SORIANO BACK!!!! - The Sleeper - 10-22-2004 amazing how everytime A Rod has left a team, they have had a much better year - Galt - 10-22-2004 I like how now it means that middle relievers from the Yankees and other such nonsensical all-star selections will not be on the team this year. |
