- IkeaBoy - 07-09-2002 Isn't the Rules that book for women to learn about how to date and crap? - GonzoStyle - 07-20-2002 Well I kinda forgot about this thread. Arpi is a cock, yes we all knew that. I voted for On The Road and I'm gonna start reading it next week anyone who wants to discuss it feel free. Don't worry if arpi ruins it the bitch is goin in the cell, I don't care how much he whines. - AFDude - 07-21-2002 If we do this again sometime, can we get a Stephen Ambrose book in there? - AdolescentMasturbator - 07-21-2002 Only if it's plagarized. - Is Don on the phone? - 07-24-2002 Quote:Only if it's plagarized. heeeheeeeheeee... Nice tag, AM! I do like his style, though. I'd still reccomend Wild Blue-it was a good read. I may have to put down the non-fiction stuff for awhile and blow the dust off of "On The Road." It's one of my favorites. - Buttmunch - 07-25-2002 What were we supposed to read again? Whatever, just keep the recommendations coming. I'm loving all this new shit to read. - GonzoStyle - 07-25-2002 Quote:What were we supposed to read again? Paradise Lost mister munch. - Buttmunch - 07-25-2002 Jeez, I read that in college. Aight, I'm in a better frame of mind to read it now. That book is a load... - GonzoStyle - 07-25-2002 It'll help ease the pain. - diceisgod - 07-25-2002 Quote:Paradise Lost mister munch.Yes. Great book/poem. I'm reading it currently. - Lord Magus - 07-25-2002 Fpr any Dragonlance nuts out there who might have missed it (because most of the 5th age stories blew) there's a new Weiss and Hickman trilogy, "War of Souls", which, fro the looks of it, is going to reset Krynn back to the way it's suppossed to be... and, of course... Brings Tas back to life - GonzoStyle - 07-25-2002 DIG may I reccomend Dante's Inferno for you? - AdolescentMasturbator - 07-25-2002 If anyone wants to read Dante I suggest you get a copy with liner notes because the references are way out of people's leagues sometimes. You'll need because Dante Alghieri references greek legends and 14th-century florentine politics, etc. My version is the Portable Dante, it has all of the Divine Comedy , and La Vita Nuova. Definitely get a copy with liner notes or else the novel won't mean as much. - GonzoStyle - 07-25-2002 Ofcourse you would need that you uneducated twit. - AdolescentMasturbator - 07-25-2002 Yeah sure I'll go back to reading State and Revolution, thank you very much. - GonzoStyle - 07-25-2002 Quote:Yeah sure I'll go back to reading State and Revolution, thank you very much. Yeah right you Mad Libs junkie!!! - AdolescentMasturbator - 07-25-2002 Go read Fountainhead you capitalist pig. - GonzoStyle - 07-25-2002 Maybe I'll read the manifesto for a laugh. - AdolescentMasturbator - 07-26-2002 Marx was never that well of a theorist on a future post-capitalist world. His critiques of capitalism are very nice but other than that I don't understand why everyone considers him an authority on everything socialist. - GonzoStyle - 07-26-2002 "The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them." - Karl Marx |
