iced tea stand....outside a construction site.......in a bathing suit....5 bucks a glass....get a friend or 2 to help yah ...they must also be in bathing suits......no fattys....do this at about 3 or 4 sites and you'll have yer money

E-bay is your best bet for fast cash. Make sure they pay up front.
People will pay ridiculous amounts for stuff if you say it's old or classic. If you've got a Cross pen sitting around since your grammer school graduation that you never used, you could probably get $50 for it if you word the ad right.
And look into a payment plan. Phone company would rather get their money over time and keep you as a customer than shut off your service and sick a collection agency on you.
$1,000 in one month? Must be lots of long distance. Can't see local ever costing that much. Are you sure all the calls are yours? Had a crossed line once with charges to Puerto Rico and stuff on my bill. Got an itemized list of calls and successfully fought it.
