I never said either was a great fighter or even championship caliber fighter but they gave all they had and always gave everything in every fight no matter what their skill levels were. Thats what i respect and i respect them more than a floyd mayweather who says 8 million a fight is "slave wages", though naturally it's not even a question that technically Mayweather blows gatti and ward outta the water.
I am still waiting for him to point out where I said I find technically fought matches to be boring, ofcourse he is gonna keep ducking the question as he always does.

I agree with him that there are different types of fights and some people hate the technical bouts which I love but I also love the all out brawls. By arpi's standards Hagler Vs. Hearns must be the worst fight ever.

I was just about to compare the Gatti/Ward fights to our generations Hagler/Hearns or Leonard/Hearns. They are the epitome of what boxing is. Each man giving and taking the best the other fighter has to offer and coming back for more. If half the fighters today had HALF the heart of those two guys, boxing would be a much more entertaining sport to watch.
