so scientific and cyclical forces that generate hurriances and planes flying into buildings do it for a reason?

- Galt - 10-18-2005

Well something has to have an end-state in mind, thereby making events occur or preventing events from occuring in order reach that end-state.

That's the definition of "happens for a reason" under your meaning.

By making that statement you are also saying:
1. That there is a higher power
2. That this higher power is omniscient and omnipotent
3. That this higher power has decided your fate (as well as, I assume, everyone else's on the planet)
4. That this higher power is controlling events in order to make sure that your fate comes to occur.

mother nature hates niggers and sneezed over new orleans.

plus, biblical free will is not you chosing to go wherever you want, it is one singular choice to do what god wants you to do.

and in simply using the term "reason" you imply something has the ability to reason, a mind of some sort

I still wanna know the scientific force that made the planes go boom into the buildings.

- Keyser Soze - 10-18-2005

- Galt - 10-19-2005

you also didn't claim that some supernatural force caused you to dislike your job at Goldman so it could save you from death.

- GonzoStyle - 10-19-2005

I heard that smoking weed stimulates brain cell growth, right suzie?

- Hawt Baux - 10-19-2005

It's "affect" not "effect".

Affect causes the effect.

- diceisgod - 10-19-2005

Like an effect in the weiner affects the brain

- Hawt Baux - 10-19-2005

Maybe affect doesnt cause effect but she still used effect and it's not the right one.

- GonzoStyle - 10-19-2005

it's all that brain cell growth.

- crx girl - 10-19-2005

affect is a verb and effect is a noun. right?

- Hawt Baux - 10-19-2005
