I've been dabbling with this Audacity thing and found a vocal effect.
Its the delay option.
After you record. Highlight the vocal bar > effects > delay and knock all the options down to one.
Only hardcore Lennon post Beatles fans will probably know this one.

Imagine yes, I wouldnt go as far as to say his best stuff was post-beatles. Same goe for Paul and everyone else, even though Paul was more commercially successful.
