wow, 20+ hours,,That must be rough. ;-)

Do you highschool kids have anykind of curfew? Or do you just not leave the house,so it isnt needed

- fbd - 06-13-2002

on the rare event that i leave, no curfew, as long as my parents know where i'm going(or where i say i'm going) and around when i'll be back.most of the time, though, people hang out at my house and break their curfews, though

Seriously, nothing worse than being a boring old person.

- LZMF1 - 06-13-2002

wait til you start putting in a 70 hour work week. i don't miss those days.

i'm 30, retired, and i'm mr. mom.

I don't plan on ever doing that.

- Luna - 06-13-2002

I'd much rather be where I am right now than where I was 10 or 15 years ago. :-D

i thought the same thing at one point.
at 23 i was making 35K a year. it wasn't too shabby but it was killing me.

- JIMMYSNUKA - 06-13-2002

by the end of the week only thing hitting the count of 70 is my beer count.

- FNMoron - 06-13-2002

Jimmy, you pussy.... I hit 70 beers this week by monday night

- onehung - 06-13-2002

I pulled an 80+ hour week for a moving company when I was Young. Took home about 400 bucks. How sad is that

- Sluggo - 06-13-2002

Shit...When I was still in HS...
I was making like 2.45 an hour...
After HS, when I got up to 6.00 it seemed like I was making a fourtune...THAT'S SAD.

- criticslovesnatch - 06-13-2002

i work crazy hours but i make good money, $350/week tax free, the equivalent of an $11/hour job had i had to pay taxes.

its nice having money, too bad its only mine temporarily as i owe much money Confuseduicide:

- crx girl - 06-13-2002

i worked about 85 hours last week, but for the most part it's more around the 60 to 70 mark. although i try not to think of hanging out in the park as work...

as far as feeling old...my youngest sister just completed her first year of college, i was 7 when she was born. my oldest sister just had her second child and i'm about to be a godmother for the first time :-D i don't really feel that old, but sometimes i feel like i haven't accomplished enough. although, now that 40 is the new 30 i figure i've got plenty of time for all that grown up stuff :thumbs-up:
