if they live in the pool house they can at least clean the pool.

sox in 7, although i dont understand why they're pitching pedro second in hostile yankee stadium. he's a fragile little bitch, they should save him for the third game in boston.

- Goatweed - 10-13-2004

the Star Wars intro was really awful until Zim's cameo at the end.

- GonzoStyle - 10-13-2004

Red Sox have their best shot in a while to finally win but until they do, I still gotta stand by the yanks.

- GonzoStyle - 10-13-2004

so much for the dominance of schilling.

Mussina is in the zone though.

- Goatweed - 10-13-2004

he was...then he lost all his gas. damn.

- GonzoStyle - 10-13-2004

The curse of the gonzino.

- drusilla - 10-13-2004

no curse yet, maybe just a jinx (but not a bad one)

- The Jays - 10-13-2004

I'd rather blame Gonzo for giving up seven runs rather than the Yankee pitching staff... then again, they gave up 10 Smile

- GonzoStyle - 10-13-2004

Sometimes I really don't understand how powerful I am.

- Galt - 10-13-2004

So Schilling is fine all year, then right before the Yankee series he get hurt. Why does this always happen? Who signed the pact with Satan?

- The Jays - 10-13-2004

The game wasn't even the usual come-from-behind Yankee win.

- Galt - 10-13-2004

The Yanks fans have to feel great that the vaunted bullpen let up 5 runs in two innings. That the Sox somehow made it a game after such a stomach punch.

- Goatweed - 10-13-2004

a win is a win :5:

- The Jays - 10-13-2004

Both starters gave up runs, both bullpens gave up runs, but what it came down to was Mussina's first six innings, and Mariano's last; both offenses never give up, and are always trying to pile on run support.

- Galt - 10-13-2004

yeah, but the Red Sox bullpen gave up 4 runs in 6 innings. The Yankees bullpen gave up 5 runs in 3 innings.

- GonzoStyle - 10-13-2004

actually the yankee bullpen gave up 3 in 2.1, 2 runners were still mussinas.

- The Jays - 10-13-2004

oh sna

- Galt - 10-13-2004

5 runs scored while the relievers were pitching. One of the key statistics used in measuring the quality of a reliever is "inherited runners scored"

The yankees relievers allowed 5 to score.

- GonzoStyle - 10-13-2004

whatever helps you cope.

- Galt - 10-13-2004

It's definitely not a good thing that the sox lost, and definitely like that that Yanks win tonight. Essentially, the Sox changes disappeared in the 3rd inning.

The fact that the yanks bullpen made it a game however, can't be a good sign for them.
