A-rod and Jeter have been rocks for the Yanks this season; they are what the rest of the team builds on. They own that left side of the field in ball games. Cano added to it. A-rod has been leading in rbi production, average, and home runs all season for the Yanks, except for when Tino hit 12 home runs and led the league. When Sheffield, Matsui, or Giambi was in a slump, A-rod still contributed. Alot of games required the whole team to pull through, and get runs, and A-rod was always in the middle of it. He's played all the games this season, he's been the rock for the offense and a part of a groo defense.
