I think thats it for Deadwood. I heard something like they're gonna make a 2hr movie or something like that to wrap up the loose ends.

oh that's just fucked up, that was such an amazing show. Al Swearengen is easily one of the greatest characters ever.

Re: The Sopranos - GonzoStyle - 06-15-2007

just read up on the deadwood board on IMDB how the fuck does HBO have the balls to cancel basically one of the last good shows it has left? This next season of the Wire will be the last one as well, so they lost sopranos (biggest show on the network), Oz is long gone, Rome is gone, Deadwood is gone and the Wire will be gone after this season... so what the fuck do they have left? Big Love.. blech I wouldnt watch that show for anything, so fuckin awful.

It's gonna actually be 2, 2 hour movies but still at least they're tying it up.

John from Cincinatti!

Re: The Sopranos - HedCold - 06-15-2007

the first episode of that was weird. even though its on on demand i'm waiting for the HD version of episode 2 sunday night. time warner doesn't have any HD on demand options (except for PPVs i guess) like comcast did. super lame

Re: The Sopranos - Galt - 06-15-2007

By the way, can we all officially mock Gooch's gullibility to think that the ending was some tribute to the insanely fanatical fans who would remember that all of those characters were previously in the show, and that they were all there to kill Tony?

Once again, you were wrong.

Agreed. They only had 3 seasons and they all did well with viewers and critics. So naturally what do you do.....CANCEL IT!

The conversations between Al and Mr. Wu alone should have had it renewed for at least another 6 seasons.

Re: The Sopranos - GonzoStyle - 06-15-2007

Anything Al does is amazing, even the conversations with the indians severed head, I love the fact that of all his "friends" he confides the most to a severed head of a savage.

Al mocking Farnum always rules.

And how fucking terrible does FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDS look ??

I watch the commercials and see nothing remotely interesting or funny or even slightly humorous about it. Horrible!

Re: The Sopranos - Keyser Soze - 07-04-2007

flight of the conchords is hysterical. out of the new hbo shows, its so far my favorite.

Re: The Sopranos - HedCold - 07-04-2007

the first two episodes were good, but the last one was really good

Re: The Sopranos - Keyser Soze - 07-04-2007

the ape looking guy is the funnier of the two, he's just naturally funny. i also thought the last show was their funniest yet.
