The politician or the black comic?

Ugh!
Well, my brother bought the joint.
I just rent.:thumbs-up:

Dude, don't get me wrong, the condos back there are mad nice. It's just the surrounding area that kinda sucks. You've got to remember though, you are easily within walking distance of the high school.

Well ofcourse fee fi fo figger boy I hate a nigger.

I will say this as far as the city goes, I can understand where kid's comin from. It's nice to visit but I could never live in the city. I took it personally cause I love where I live in brooklyn. I got the boardwalk down the block, the beach down the block, tons of shopping areas, bars, an amusement park, a sports stadium, etc. All within a small radius around here.

I will say the only thing that sucks is the cost of living in NY. That's a huge drawback. Other than that I would never wanna live anywhere else but brooklyn. I have given thought to moving but only cause of the Cost of living issue here.

I guess if you're born and raised here your feelings are different. I can't stand all that quiet you people got out there, drives me insane.

That's because if you moved from Brooklyn, people would hear the little boys screams.

Someone else mentioned that salaries are higher in NY. That's true, but only because the cost of living in NY is FUCKING RIDICULOUS!!! Yeah, I could get an apartment in the bronx for less than I'm paying here, but I wouldn't have an assigned parking space, maintenance and central air.

- GonzoStyle - 07-19-2002

Well where I live you can't get a studio now for less than 650 a month, a decent one atleast. That's just rent, nothing else included.

Funny, I live in the Bronx and I was for shit sure that I am nopt that far off from your rent.

- Kid Afrika - 07-19-2002

They have upgraded the ghettos I see.

Quote:From work, I can walk to Little Italy for a $7.50 lunch special with a chicken parm that's bigger than the plate, or to China town for $6 lunch special, or the all-you-can-eat Indian buffet, or hop the train to Katz's Deli for a pastrami sandwich the size of your head, or the Spanish place for a three course lunch for $9...or just go to the deli across the street and get a hero for $5.
And, I can walk out onto a pier that goes a 1,000 feet out onto the Hudson River, sit on a bench and enjoy the quiet and a nice breeze while I eat my lunch.
Then I can walk over to Washington Square Park and watch the NYU students, the dog walkers, etc.

After work, there are tons of good bars. $3 beers till 10. Then there's The Bitter End and Elbow Room for some great live music.

Walking Canal Street is like swimming up-stream, but if you pay cash and know how to negotiate, you can get stuff dirt cheap.

Maaann! that was poetic, I'm misting up over here, good job. ::golf clap:: :headbang:
