Your logic is flawed, your icons are butt fucking ugly, and your argument is moot.
More people are against the lights, or ambiguous towards them, than are for them. So, why not just lose them, and call it a day?
Or are you so caught up in not agreeing with anything proposed, asked for, or otherwise brought to your attention by me?
Maybe the flashing icon would be better-suited for an item that needs attention, like board announcements, or important polls. Having one or two topics with flashing icons would make them stand out from the rest. Having them all flashing is simply annoying and essentially overkill.

You and Keyser seem to think I'm against everything you say. I'm more pissed off by the fact that you and Ladi are losing your fucking minds over them when in fact, they DONT bother that many people. There are over 150 members on this board, and the fact that around 10 don't like them, you're telling me we should change.
If there is a way to make them so they only appear on announcements, then yeah, that would be better, but the way the software is set up, I don't think that's possible. So for now, they stay.

Your ignorance is amazing sometimes. Change the flashing icon to the "pinned topic" icon. Then, any thread that is pinned will have a flashing icon. Seems kind of redundant though, doesn't it? I mean if a topic is pinned, it's AT THE FUCKING TOP!!!
There is no need for a flashing icon. Get over it, and we can all move on.

How about just making the eyes blink different colors and the jaw open and close like they're laughing at you. Could you get the frequency just right to cause seizures?
