So Korea is out. The run was nice but it would taint the sport too much if South Korea got in especially with all those bad calls helping them.

The goalkeeper played pretty well but what the hell was the Turkish defense doing to Ronaldo as he was scoring a goal. The goalie was amazing and the defense should have helped him a bit.
Oh well Brazil is a huge favorite seeing Ballack won't be playing in the final and Klose has an injury.

you're right, rustu saved the game until ronaldo scored, and youre right about the defense too...on the ronaldo goal they had 4 guys flanking him and still couldn't stop the guy. oh well, was still an amazing run for turkey, they'll be back in 4 years.

I get to enjoy the games through my wife who is from Brazil and the only way I see it is like like when Canada won the gold in hockey -- the country expects to win it all and nothing less --- let me tell you they know how to party in the ironbound section of newark after winning it all too :toast: i think in 4 years if they win it again everybody should go and see the party hotties everywhere:burnfucker:

I seriously doubt Brazil will win in 2006. That will mean Ronaldo and Rivaldo will have to be healthy which is never for sure. Cafu is probably retiring, which leaves Roberto Carlos as their best defensive player and almost their only good one. Also since it's in Germany 2006 you know the crowds will be extremely hostile.

My favorite thing is that Brazil wasn't expected to do dick this year. Thats just great, a year they should suck and they win it all. Go figure.
