- The Jays - 07-06-2005 Quote:7-3, 1.41 ERA - crx girl - 07-06-2005 sucks, don't it - Galt - 07-06-2005 if his team wasn't atrocious, he should be 17-0 - The Jays - 07-06-2005 I think we were saying the same thing about Randy Johnson last year. - Galt - 07-06-2005 We still are. - GonzoStyle - 07-06-2005 The best pitcher I ever saw, no doubt. Maybe he'll start slowing down at 50. - Galt - 07-06-2005 No one compares to Pedro that I've seen. I saw two different Pedro near perfect games in Boston. One was an 18 strikeout game where he gave up two hits, I think. He was a machine. - GonzoStyle - 07-06-2005 Pedro for about 4 years was probably the most dominant pitcher in all of baseball and his late 90's stats are amazing but the longevity of clemens is more amazing. He's done this for a very long time now and he's as good as ever at 42 years. - Galt - 07-06-2005 Oh yeah, I completely agree. It's like Tom Seaver vs. Sandy Koufax (though Clemens is about a billion times better than Seaver) Pedro's '97-'03 is about as good as anyone's ever been, but when Clemens and even RJ have been at that level for more than a decade, you can't really say that Pedro's better than Clemens. I was just saying that of the pitchers I've seen (Clemens, Ryan, Pedro, RJ, I'm sure some others) Pedro was incomparably dominant. - The Jays - 07-06-2005 Randy was dominant today. - GonzoStyle - 07-06-2005 Koufax's accomplishments are astounding but every fuckin time you start talking about baseball with jews around thats their fuckin ace in the hole, its like marciano for white people. |
