- The Jays - 07-16-2005 Quote:1 Billy Martin Who do you think will have their number retired within the next ten years? - HollywoodJewMoses - 07-16-2005 capt. intangibles - Sir O - 07-16-2005 Off the top of my head: Bernie Williams Derek Jeter (but he'll probably still be playing 10 years from now) Joe Torre Mariano Rivera And that's probably about it... - crx girl - 07-16-2005 2 derek jeter yum - crx girl - 07-16-2005 i have to apologize, i only got interested in baseball because of the ass involved. did anybody see the back of the post, arod's hot, and he played against my highschool, i wish i could go back in time. anyay, i meant that though about jeter. - HollywoodJewMoses - 07-16-2005 bernie williams shant be having his number retired. - The Jays - 07-16-2005 why would he not have his number retired - Galt - 07-16-2005 When you've had that many people's numbers retired, it should only be hall-of-famers who spent the vast majority of their careers with the team (only Jeter and Rivera) - The Jays - 07-16-2005 no, it should really be the Yankees who have made the most important contribution to the teams. - diceisgod - 07-16-2005 that should retire all of the numbers of the players who make crx's crack damp - Keyser Soze - 07-16-2005 - The Jays - 07-16-2005 at least our fags are young and productive - diceisgod - 07-17-2005 he's got a sweet ass! and you got your head....all the way up it! - Goatweed - 07-17-2005 that's an amazing movie - one of my faves. - HollywoodJewMoses - 07-17-2005 bernie williams is not going to have his number retired - Sir O - 07-17-2005 Why not? - The Jays - 07-17-2005 Because WBK is a dick who likes to talk shit and make Yankee fans jump in response. Edited By The Jays on 1121610499 - Sir O - 07-17-2005 But I'm not even a Yankee fan. I just don't see why he shouldn't have his number retired after spending 15 years (and counting) with the Yankees, a career batting average over .300, OPS+ of 130, and the only player to play on their 10 consecutive playoff (including 4 World Series champion) teams. Seems like a no-brainer to me... - GonzoStyle - 07-17-2005 Goatweed Wrote:that's an amazing movie - one of my faves.was never a big fan of it, the shootout on the highway was amazing though. - Goatweed - 07-17-2005 I'll bet you would have loved it more if Deniro & Killmer busted out into a song during the shootout. |
