King's Funeral..... - Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

funny listening to all the wingnuts wring their hands about Bush hearing negative things at the funeral.......

I guess for once Bush wasn't able to hand pick those in attendance and pre approve the material....

WAAAAAH.

- Hoon - 02-08-2006

who cares?

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

apparently all the wingnuts.....

you will care, once you plug in and get your marching orders.

- Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006

who sent you? randi rhodes?

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

I'll make a deal with you Keyser,
you stop making sucky posts,
and I'll stop pointing them out.

- Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006

but then you'd have nothing else to post about.

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

sigh.......

I was trying to post about something else.....
I often do....
but then you saunter in and start to suck it up.

really... stop doing that, and watch how fast the topic drops.

- Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006

glad to see im a thorn in your side, fatty arbuckle.

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

more of a burr in the saddle....
your mere presence is a constant annoyance....

but in a passive sort of way.

- Mad - 02-08-2006

Herr Bush doesn't like hearing dissent. Too bad it was the wrong place and the wrong time to bitch about his failures, IMO.

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

I dunno...
it was the funeral of a woman who's life was dedicated to fighting racial/social injustice.... a woman who's family faced assault from the Government....

It was an appropriate time to look at the progress made, and the journey that lies ahead.....

- Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006

fucking politicians should have stayed home. she should be honored by the people who actually care about her cause and not their own agendas, republican or democrat.

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

seemed to me that the democratic politicians were getting approval for their words... I even saw Bush on his feet applauding Carter for his words.

- Mad - 02-08-2006

Carter is the worst example of a former president after that equally useless fuck Ford, followed by Bush 1, then 2.

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

Well who is a good former president in your eyes?

I don't know your age, but I doubt you remember any who predate Nixon, who left in disgrace....

that leaves Ford,
Carter,
Reagan, who was brain addled even before he left office,
Bush
and Clinton......

who is a good example of a former president, and what are you basing it on?

- Mad - 02-08-2006

Washington, Jefferson, Adams.

Fuck these assholes who kowtow to whomever lines their pockets for favors.

- Ken'sPen - 02-08-2006

kinda hard to accurately assess the actions of those men, once they left office...
unless you are one hell of a historian.

- Keyser Soze - 02-08-2006

Eisenhower comes to mind. He predicted our government would become a puppet of the military industry.

- Mad - 02-08-2006

Very true. (Shit, I can't believe I'm agreeing with Keyser.)

Keyser is doing what was attributed to him in the posters "genre" thread...

he is throwing out a fact of one thing that Eisenhower said...
It's hard to base the worth of a former president based on one statement that you happen to agree with.
