My Midwest Jaunt (shitty digital pics enclosed) - The Sleeper - 04-12-2006 Hey it really does look like the beginning of Perfect Strangers Huge line for the bleacher seats starting at like 10 AM The view from where i sat Derek Lee just hit a HR probably CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! I was looking for some random museum in the middle of nowhere when i stumbled upon this lovely landmark. it's literally next to a meat packing plant neato fountains off to Miller Park in Milwaukee to see the trendy wild card pick of 2006 in person suprisingly, he wasn't the only negro in milwaukee (they're everywhere!) Very modern ballpark this is what came out as i tried to snap a pic of the shirtless dudes with "162-0" spelled out on their chests a dissapointed crowd files out as the brewers get shut out. it's all my fault. at least i got to eat brats and watch the sausage race. i don't know - Keyser Soze - 04-12-2006 miller park looks really cool, is there anything else to do in milwaukee? - The Sleeper - 04-12-2006 Miller Park was great. I only stayed in Milwaukee long enough to go to the game. I passed by Marquette which was a nice campus with lots of douchey students walking around. There's a casino about 2 miles south of where i was but i didn't have time to check it out. that's about all i saw. - Keyser Soze - 04-12-2006 did you ride the slide? - The Sleeper - 04-12-2006 no i'm pretty sure only bernie brewer can do that - Keyser Soze - 04-12-2006 Quote:Undoubtedly, Miller Park's most unique feature is the roof. The only fan-shaped convertible roof in North America guarantees perfect conditions for every game. The 12,000-ton, seven-panel roof opens and closes almost silently in just 10 minutes. - The Sleeper - 04-12-2006 fascinating - Keyser Soze - 04-12-2006 do those sections of the roof remain over the top of the stadium during games or do they move completely out to the sides, making it completely open? - GonzoStyle - 04-12-2006 wheres the pics of you banging 4 chi town hotties at once? - The Sleeper - 04-12-2006 the roof was over the top of the stadium during the game. i suppose they retract it during the summer when it gets warmer. here's what it looks like from the outside sorry gonzo, my camera ran out of batteries by then |
