Nets/Suns what a fucking game - faceman802 - 12-08-2006
So my wife scored 2 free tickets last night to the Nets/Suns game and holy shit what a fucking game. The crowd from the 2nd half through the 2nd OT was on fire. The duel between Kidd and Nash in the 4th quarter and the 1st ot was incredible. It was like they were playing a game of can you top this and the amazing thing was, they did. The 2 picks they threw for Nash to get him open at the end of regulartion were pretty good and the 3 he drained was never in doubt. There were a couple of questionable foul calls in the first ot and 1 huge no-call in the 2nd ot that seemed to deflate the whole team. But it was a great close game throughout, no more than a 6-8 point lead, and a fantastic experience to actually be there.

i was sitting at a bar with a girl i've just started seeing, and the game just happened to be on with about 4 minutes left in regulation. i kept looking over at the game, and it became increasingly difficult to feign interest in her stories with each passing overtime. i finally had to tell her im sorry but i've gotta watch this. shitty ending, but great game.
