Graphical comparisons between the 2 systems using games that were released for both systems. The results are pretty cool

Sony stock has been cruising the last week. I need it to get up to $47 by the end of April.

Xbox's corporate arm came to all the game site headquarters to convince them of the 360's merits. Its to attack Sony at what they've declared the better item vs the two: graphics and internal hardware. So, these types of comparisons will be throughout.
What will really be interesting is if Sony's products has a problem, etc. There is already more talk about how analysts aren't really in BluRays corner.
To me, even as a 360 owner...PS3 looks better to me but lighting/contrast seems to be in 360's court.

the ps3 needs more time. the xbox 360 looks better because its easier to program for (which is a reason why it may always look better) and has been out longer. it took like a year before gears of war came out to really show off what the 360 can do. we need to see how the games for the ps3 are this time next year.

it appeared to me that the 360 had better graphics in all the games due to better lighting and contrast except for NBA07 and Fight Night. They were both pretty close in Madden.
the lighting and contrast changes everything, it makes such a difference in the picture.
i was surprised they thought the xbox excelled in fight night, it looked like that was one of the few games the ps3 actually looked better than the 360.

I believe the opposite. Xbox 360 uses a software to muck things and make them have lighting and contrast, but there is a side-effect...there is a lack of depth to the 3-dimensions they are trying to mimic. The PS3, though could use better programming, shows more depth, and overall, down the line...it will surpass the 360.
Lighting and contrast, which if you ever had a photo in photoshop, can make the image better when you play around with it...but it also flattens the depth and mucks around with the original naturaness of the picture. It gets skewed, in short.

Next year the games on the PS3 are going to rock. But, till then the 360 has much better games.

short term. I bought options - April $45s.
They didn't cost much when I bought them b/c the stock was around $39 right after the PS3 launch.
But just so everyone knows, for every $1 that stock goes above $45, I make $3,000.

For every ten cents the stock goes up, I make $300.
Options can be the best (although I think I've hit about 10% of my bets on options in the last 5 years. I've easily lost $25k on options in 5 years. Maybe close to $50k

I wish Arpi were still around. This is how you publicize a stock call, not after the fact.
This started out an amazing day for Sony stock, but now, not so much.
The thing was up to $47, but now is back down under $46. It's still up a buck, but I am getting greedy.
If this thing gets up to $55 by April, I'm buying a house.

it helped that Sony met their number of ps3s to the US at one million. that prob propelled the latest jump. It also helped that they also met their mergin goal despite the ps3.
however the bounce is b/c this came out: Sony PS3 outsold by Nintendo Wii in Japan
