Max Kellerman - GonzoStyle - 08-03-2007 I love his show on espn radio, it's really the best thing on radio. The sports talk is great but he also does a lot of non-sports stuff and the guy is really entertaining. I always loved Max because of his boxing stuff and how infectious his enthusiasm is when he talks about boxing. Today he was ripping into jimmy fallon and how unfunny he is and then he started ripping on the guy who directed fallon in taxi and how embarassing that must be. Imagine that's your one directing credit and they have to use that in promition of your next film "from the director of taxi" which is the equivalent of hitler running for office in israel under the banner of "from the man who brought you the holocaust", I love Max. Re: Max Kellerman - TheGMANN - 08-03-2007 I've often thought about that. You get some amazingly crappy movie out there...and you're the guy who directed it. Hows that look on your resume'. How do you get work anymore ? You're suddenly looking at a life of directing public television shows or feed the children in africa commercials. Way to go. Re: Max Kellerman - GonzoStyle - 08-03-2007 yea well I actually just looked at the film credits of the guy who directed fallon and queen latifah in Taxi and was both shocked and then a feeling of "everything makes sense" fell over me. The guys name is Tim Story and timmy actually not only got work after the blockbuster success of taxi but he was the guy who directed Fantastic 4: Rise of the silver surfer. So it makes sense now why the movie sucked so bad but at the same time now I am beyond pissed that of all the directors someone sat around in a production office and thought it was an awesome idea to let the guy who directed Taxi, direct a multi million dollar budgeted film... which also included possibly the greatest story line in comic history. Re: Max Kellerman - Keyser Soze - 08-05-2007 I liked Kellerman's take on the Michael Vick pit bull fiasco. He's basically calling Americans hypocrites because they care more about pit bulls than cows, chickens, or any other animals they institutionally murder. |
