Jeter was down for more than 10 minutes, writhing in pain and surrounded by worried teammates. He was helped onto a cart by trainers Gene Monahan and Steve Donohue, strapped in place sitting upright and taken off the field -- his head bent, his face dripping with sweat.    - Arpikarhu - 04-01-2003 Quote:at least the Sox don't have any injuries and have a good bullpen.the bullpen is a mess and bartolo is in chicago. - GonzoStyle - 04-01-2003 Good thing I traded jeter in my other league. The trade went through, even though keyser said the other guy would pull out. - The Jays - 04-01-2003 Jeter's gonna be out for a few weeks, but I worry how the injury will affect him in the long term. In my junior year, my teammate was having a stellar wrestling season, and then went down midway when a kid dislocated his shoulder. He was out for the rest of the season, and when he came back the next year, he never wrestled the same. I am now having some doubts about the Yankees success this year, even though they have alot of talent in terms of batting. The fielding aspect is what I feel will be hurt greatly. - Teenweek - 04-01-2003 Fuck, I have Jeter in my league. Fuck, Fuck, Fuck! - Arpikarhu - 04-01-2003 first of all, its not his throwing arm. second, this is basebal not wrestling. |
