Dude, I' so looking forward to seeing the Knicks back in the playoffs, and playing the Indiana Pacers in a best of seven series. I think Houston is the only player left from those great series of the late 90's on the Knicks. I'm so glad that Reggie is still playing, that's great.
There's like so much stuff that they can hype. Reggie vs Spike. Larry Bird vs Isiah Thomas. Marbury vs Artest, the battle of the home-town boys. Dikembe, in pursuit of getting back to the NBA Finals. Houston, trying to prove his worth and continue his slow and steady rise in becoming a better player.

If you do look at the stats for Houston over his career, his numbers have steadily increased, and this year he could average 20 or more points for the season, with Marbury giving up the mad assists.

With the Knicks, you have scoring threats. A team, and a franchise, that has always stressed defense, but they have scoring threats in Marbury, Van Horn, Houston, Thomas, and Anderson sometimes. On the bench, Penny is proving that you don't know what type of Penny you're getting when he steps on the court. SInce his move to the Knicks, it's like we traded away for a player that's a mish-mosh of his last 10 years in the league. At time, he looks like the player that was running down the court back when he and Shaq were Magic.

Isiah should be congratulated. And, at the first sign that he is about to start making stupid decisions, kick him the fuck out.

We should totally get Knicks playoff tickets for that series.

Miller hitting 3 3-pointers in 9 seconds still stings.

- HedCold - 02-08-2004

the lj 4 point play stings too

- The Jays - 02-08-2004

that shit was dope, son.

- IrishAlkey - 02-08-2004

I heard through the grapevine they might be picking up Wallace. They'd probably give up either Thomas and Anderson or Van Horn.

- HedCold - 02-08-2004

supposedly they could have had abdur raheem from the hawks if they would have sent thomas and van horn to the blazers, and the hawks would have gotten wallace, but isiah didn't want to give up kurt thomas

What!?

I like Thomas but that's a stupid move!

That poor guy is rotting away on the Hawks.

How great does it feel to watch a KNICK game again??

The Garden has this early 90's feel to it again....when the KNICKS were contenders to win it all.

If you guys get tix to a KNICK game....Id be so in for that!

For the knicks to even reach the pacers in the playoffs they will need to beat the nets. Somehow i dont see that happenng just yet.

Shame on you all for not complementing Jays on this masterful use of the English language.

Knicks suck...they'll get to the Pacers only to lose at the buzzer with Ewing missing a shot 1 foot from the rim........wait that already happened. Golden State all the way!
