How come Shortround doesn't appear in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade? I mean, Dr. Jones couldn't get him into the US? He didn't adopt him or something? He makes plenty of money to support him. And he could have used him when they went into the cave to get the Holy Grail; his small body could have easily stopped the blades.

But I thought that was the whole relationship between Indy and Shorty; Shorty tries to pick his pocket, only to find Indy had cut the inside out; Shorty then follows him around wherever he goes.
