you can purchase movies on psp discs, but ipod lets you download videos anywhere and store far more movies off the shelf. to get 60 gigs of video on a PSP right now it would cost you well over $1000
i view my PSP as more of a portable music/gaming/internet device than a video player. the ipod is a more powerful music/video device until PSP can figure out how to beat it storage wise.
