At what point in your relationship are you so comfortable it doesn't matter what the other person does? I feel like there's a point where he or she is going to have to deal with seeing you at bad times. I dated a guy who got seriously mad if I didn't shave my legs one day. (does he know what a pain in the ass it is?) hell, he would even get mad if I burped or farted in front of him, saying it wasn't ladylike. Well, damnit, you have to realize that it happens, so i think that it meant he wasn't comfortable around me. So at what point does all the showing off end? I mean, I dated him for 2 years!

I don't think its a specific time frame, but I think after the "I love you" is said, people tend to calm down a bit and relax. You feel more confident in the relationship and know if you don't wear makeup one day etc. they're not going to dump you. I do think there are certain things that should never be done no matter how comfortable you are....pooping with the door open is one of them.

Here's another good example of being too comfortable:

An ex and I went on vacation OVER THE SUMMER to Boston a few years ago when he decided out of no where that he wasn't going to shower while we were away because he felt that showers in hotels were never quite as clean as the one at home that his mother cleaned. Keep in mind the weather was consistently at least 90 degrees or more during the day.... So I suggested we go for cleaning supplies etc if he was that uncomfortable but NO he didn't fucking shower so I wouldn't even sleep in the same bed with him let alone let him touch me....well come the last day of our trip...smelling like something out of the sewer he tried to :fuckin: ....if that isn't too comfortable...I don't know what is...needless to say after truly experiencing his hygenie we broke up soon after....

I can honestly state that I am comfortable around everybody. GF, friends, new peeps, it doesn't mean shit to me. One rule though, the moment I bust someone lying, well, they might as well fall off the face of this planet for I will no longer have any use for them. I completely agree... I've been in relationships with girls for months and still never felt completely comfortable... and have also felt completely comfortable within minutes of meeting some girls... it all depends on the "person" you meet...
