Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind - Not what I expected but still a very good movie and surprisingly well done job by George Clooney as a first time director. Though it seems like he begged everyone from Oceans Eleven to make a cameo (Julia Roberts has a pretty large part in the film and there are cameos from Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and a couple others from Oceans Eleven). Sam Rockwell did a pretty fair job but still doesn't really seem the leading man type.
A Man Apart - it gets a little too far fetched towards the end but Vin Diesel is pretty good and its 10 times better than xXx was. Overall just a sweet action film to watch and just enjoy a a guy killing a bunch of other guys to avenge the murder of his wife, while costing dozens of innocent peoples lives. http://www.dvdspot.com/member=Gonzostyle http://www.myspace.com/brooklyngonzo http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=770777388 diceisgod Wrote:I LOVE YOU GONZY WONZY SNOOKIE WOOKIE DUMPLIN BUNS!

was a man apart ever actually in theatres? i saw it in blockbuster last week and wondered when that came out
09-12-2003, 04:37 AM
Yeah it was out in theaters like in April I think, it did moderatly well not as big as xXx but in my opinion better.
I mean it's no Gigli with it's 6 million dollar box office... amazingly all of a sudden after Gigli bombs and is out of theaters in 9 days, now their engagement is on the rocks. http://www.dvdspot.com/member=Gonzostyle http://www.myspace.com/brooklyngonzo http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=770777388 diceisgod Wrote:I LOVE YOU GONZY WONZY SNOOKIE WOOKIE DUMPLIN BUNS!

Bennifer news makes page 2 of the paper today, yet the 9/11 memorial coverage - while more than one page - gets page 4. This country's priorities are astounding...

Not like she is just using him. Thats silly, as if she used Puffy to further her music career, and now is using Affleck to further her movie career, come on.

A man apart was actually on the streets for sale way before XXX even was made. It was called El Diablo. I think Vin Disel made that right after Fast and Furious when he was still a unknown.

Quote:Gonzo seems like your store does a lot of things different then the LI stores do. We have nothing in the way of Soft Porn or Unrated flicks available.actually i tink the levittown one has soft porn. and with the j-lo affleck thing...i really hope the suckiness of Gigli doesnt make people not wanna see jersey girl when it comes out, cause even though they both suck in life, a kevin smith script can make up for it.

I just watched The Trials Of Henry Kissenger. It's a documentary which was inspired by the book of the same title. I would urge everyone to watch this film, it's a frightening eye opener.

Next weeks releases
The In-Laws - with Michael Douglas & Albert Brooks, pretty funny movie, very enjoyable to watch. Very funny, some action, all around good flick. The Italian Job - fuckin horrible, such a snoozefest, drags on and on and on. Very formulatic, lots of bullshit, a few good chase scenes but really bad overall. A waste of a good cast and lots of money, the only thing worse than the script is Mark Wahlberg. Or maybe Edward Norton who you could tell lost any interest in the script 5 minutes in and regreted even being there. Willard - I tried but I can't watch the movie, fuckin rats!!! As good as it gets - I needed a good Nicholson movie to get me over Italian Job and Willard. http://www.dvdspot.com/member=Gonzostyle http://www.myspace.com/brooklyngonzo http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=770777388 diceisgod Wrote:I LOVE YOU GONZY WONZY SNOOKIE WOOKIE DUMPLIN BUNS!

Italian Job sucked balls. The first 45 minutes is watchable but from there on is dull as shit. Didn't mind the actin so much as it was just dry and the same stunts and lame ass jokes. How many times did they say that the Seth Green character was the real creator of Napster? Maybe 10-15 times...Waste of time!
