i used to watch the games on the radio all the time
u need to have a good imagination and see the game
i like listening to games rather than watching them on tv most of the time

The Yankees are normally watched on TV.
The Yankees are not aired cuz they're scumming sucking, greed bastard owner, Georgie Boy, wants more money.
Thus then, Yankee fans can't WATCH their team play on TV so they are
reduced to watching them ON the RADIO.....it's a play on words and an attempt at sarcasm from miss Putmetosleep.
