it was so-so. Initially he tried to go with no catch phrases and did the bland highlights, then he stopped a highlight and looked at patrick and said "lets give them what they want", redid the highlight with his signature catchphrases. They also did 5 questions with him and Patrick gave him a list of past espn anchors and asked for the association. The answer was "people that you said you were better then when you were here". Kilborn played it off well though and all in all it was enjoyable.

yeah, it was pretty good - for once, ESPN was entertaining.

ESPN is always entertaining, I cant call a day complete unless I watch sportscenter.

Their baseball highlights are horribly uninformative; 90% of it is homers and web gems.
Tonight's was pretty good as well. Seeing Charley Steiner in a tank top is always disturbing, though. |
