The final line on Carolina was -3, so once again they didn't (technically) cover. I re-opened the wound on my right knuckle when they went for it with 8:50 in the 4th on 4th and 1 at the Det 4. 2 plays later, Pollard with an 85 yard catch that leads to a FG. If you're going to have the confidence in your defense to stop them at the 4 down 3, why not have the confidence to tie the game, get the ball back with a few minutes left, and win with a FG. Instead you need to rely your backup QB to get the TD. Sure it worked out, but it still pisses me the fuck off. Not to mention Detroit's only 2 TD's came on INT returns (off Delhomme who I have in my fantasy league).

So Sleeper takes my advice on 2 of 3 of his picks, but doesn't take the advice to STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM PARLAYS. There's a HUGE difference between going 2 for 3 vs. going 0 for 1. Even if the Jets fuck me this afternoon like they usually do, I still wind up ahead.

Won $124.96 so far. I didn't bet as much I'd like because I went through a disgusting baseball drought and the end of the season, and 0-3 in the playoffs. Still, no matter what the Jets/Bills do, it's been a good day. If they cover, great. If not, that's fine too. You don't have that luxury in parlays.

Betting on baseball is easy, but I will never bet during the last couple of weeks and especially the playoffs. I was way ahead for the season until a few weeks ago when shit just got completely fucked up all over the place
