As the object of much of froy's "love", I have to disagree with you there...

You stepped out of line, and now you are trying to make yourself a martyr. But, you haven't a leg on which to stand.

You see, herein lies your downfall. You made a contribution to the site, knowing that it was not public knowledge that said payment needed to be made. There was no public outcry, yet you felt it was necessary to pitch in. Then, after doing so, you felt it necessary to make your "inside" knowledge known to the rest of the site.

So, you've basically put the site's business in the open for everyone to see at the expense of those who run the site. Then, when they call you on it, you say it was a joke? Of course it was a joke, but that doesn't make it any less wrong. Besides, the meaning behind that joke was not laughter. It was an obvious slight against the people to whom you had only just loaned a hand.

You want credit, you've got it. Credit for contributing to the life of this site. But, you take with that the credit for being the biggest Asshole ever known to the abyss that makes up internet message board.
