funsnapsdyno Wrote:But he never said where the movie took place. You said it was made in America. I'm sticking by my guess Roger Egbert! I said the movie took place in America. Your guess took place in Japan. Your guess also doesn't jibe with the fact that everyone in the screen shot that BA posted was obviously American, and not Japanese. Which means there is no way that the scene would be from Lost in Translation. You cotton headed ninnymuggins.

Is 'jibe' or 'jive' the correct word for that particular context? I always thought "jive" but then again that "wheelbarrel" notion got shoved right up my ass.

yes.

I'll give you a hint. only movies with black people or ones that were based in the 70s say the term "jive ass". Neither of which are on my Netflix queue.

You're close...not crazy-assed-Bloody-Anus close but the "real" close.
'Sudden Impact' and a negro said it to Harry but he cut him off because he is above such obscenities.

So you've just given up on movie #5? Well, when in Rome.
12-11-2007, 05:02 PM
Sorry, other than Rambo I wouldn't give a squirt of piss for the others so my guess is I have no friggin idea what #5 is. Anyway, I think granny sounded pretty confident in her guess ...and if correct....Voila!...yet another piece of shit movie. Anyway, a four-way tie is the most fitting ending I think.

I really dislike people who use the term "when in rome", just sayin.

While I am 99% positive I'm correct, she has exactly 0% chance of being right. Per as said comment with which I bemoaned her said guess relative to prior topic re: Lost in Translation being of Japanese locale where jibe does not exist concurrent on aforementioned picture posted by one Bloody Anus.
Which is basically what it is like to read a DIG post.

That was a good impression. Obviously, my recent posts have annoyed a bit. Marvelous.
