i know what you mean.. i get that sometimes.. my wife's family is close where my family is not as big.. and it seems alot of the time we have to see her family.. but she is the only child. but sometimes i put my foot down and say something..

Mr Goatweed, is our mom still living? Maybe say you want to spend the day with her..

no kids yet, but it's in the planning stage, with phase one commencing next month/August. I'm still in negotiations, but again - I think I'm gonna lose.

I don't want it yet - I'd like to wait 1 more year and be a lot more financially sound. I just bought a house and I'm putting major $$ into it as we speak. And kids aren't cheap.

i fuckin' hate wit when they make you do their families thing.

i was stuck in a relationship like that for 5 years.

i was forced to go to weddings of cousins i've never seen before instead of doing better more interesting things with my friends.

i am happy i am from a small family.

even if both my brothers were still alive i don't think i'd force the other person to do that shit. it's just not in me.
