I don't know if there will really be one defining movement, to say that Grunge defined the 90s is also not totally correct, sure they dominated the early part of the decade, but as time progressed their impact on the music industry faded.
I think we will mostly see more and more fusion, if anyone has seen the Sprite commercial with Robin Thicke that is what I am talking about.

I'm guessing it's "When I get you alone".I've heard a few songs off the album, and it's acctually quite good. The mixture of sounds seems organic, and doesn't really stick out like with some fusion music I've heard (ie Nu-Metal bands that suddenlly go from screeching guitars to "rapping). Maybe it's just me, but his sound has an almost P. Funk like quality to it.
