I heard it was very poor visually and in how it actually played. It was bad for PC and the console versions were even worse. I haven't actually played it, so I can't give you a definitive yes or no on whether you should buy it.

Call of Duty - United Offensive

I love this series. And there's even another one coming out for the consoles. I can't speak for the multiplayer aspect because I don't have a decent enough connection at home to play, but the single player campaign is superbly done. This is how WWII shooters should be done. The sound and the destruction all around you. Much like the first game, there's several moments where I have to pause and walk away from my computer to catch my breath. This game is too goddamn immersive.
