i have the toy story movies and a bug's life. they're awesome....but beauty and the beast...i dont know about that one. i think the candlestick guy and the clock might have saved that movie from the bowels of Hell though

Anyone know where I can get a copy of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"? They're apparently out of print, and the re-realease isn't until next year

It actually is probably one of the best of the Bond series, it was the perfect bond movie. I still love goldfinger though, OHMSS is second to Goldfinger.

I have it but only on tape, I have all the bond movies on tape so I am not bothering with the DVD's. I even have the timothy dalton ones... ugh.

I was gonna buy the 2 disc set, but I read in a few interviews that Jackson really wanted to release the "extended" version as the theatrical one, but the studio gave him a little shit about the run-time (at the time, they didn't realize this movie would do so well), so he made the scene cuts.

Besides, I always gotta have the UltraDeluxeCollector'sEditionSE. Otherwise I feel like I'm missing out.

Well don't forget that they're releasing a FIVE disc set too!

I was in Best Buy yesterday looking for other stuff. I go to the checkout and am chatting with the guy and say something like, "Doesn't Lord of the Rings come out Tuesday?"

"Yeah, I think so. Wait, no, I think it's early December, like the 19th or so. Oh, the DVD, that's already out. There's a four-disc set?"

How many things are wrong with this situation?

Well don't forget that they're releasing a FIVE disc set too!

The 5 disc set is the same as the 4 disc set, but it includes an additional National Geographic special that was done on the world of Tolkien (I think that's what it's called). I've already seen it, and it's nothing special. It also includes two matching book holders, like for a shelf and I'm assuming these are for use with all three sets of the trilogy once they are all available.

Either way, I'm not getting it - the 4 disc will do just fine.
