Speaking of which, you can tell that Pizza Hut is authentic Italian food, using an African-American spokesperson. At least Olive Garden TRIES to look legit.
Why get any chain pizza when there are so many good independent pizza places around? Doesn't seem logical. Manhattan has at least 2 good pizza places on every block.
i get my pizza from a little hole in the wall on the corner, but as far as chains go, i really miss papa john's. i didn't know they even had them up here. i liked it for the peppers and dippy sauce lurp:
Bensonhurst. Theres nothing else like L&B. There are some amazing places to get italian food down in Little Italy of course but L&B is a true gem in Brooklyn for casual pizzaria style food. The sicilian slices are like no other. The place is a 62-year-old landmark. They're famous for their square pie (light, crunchy crust with a bare minimum of mozzarella cheese under a layer of tomato sauce) Try a paper cup of the house spumoni. Its been described as American Graffiti meets GoodFellas.

Thanks, I will have to remember that. :thumbs-up:
I am more familiar with Park Slope, Bay Ridge, and a little bit of Brooklyn Heights than I am Bensonhurst.
My roomates's dad will get seriously pissed if he goes into Brooklyn and doesn't come back with some for him
Here in Hoboken, I have to go with Giovanni's. Solid

Your pocket Bible will stop an assailant's bullet, but not before it passes through four innocent bystanders, a school-bus gas tank, and your genitals.
