We must learn to thank the Nazi's.

I had to read an article in high school about how the U.S. got a lot of the records from the Nazi's and the scientists and made use of them.

Not only did the records and the Nazi scientists help with the space program and nuclear weapons research, but "Dr." Mengala's inhuman experiments actually advanced medical science by decades including the fields of organ transplant and removal of diseased organs.

Nobody wants to talk about it for obvious reasons, but the U.S. and Russia made the most of the spoils of war.
