please excuse me while i interrupt and get back to topic...
i can understand them monitoring to make sure people aren't going to porno sites and such. or whatever sites they deem inappropriate, as long as they inform employees first. as far as how much time is spent doing personal stuff, as long as you do the job required of you in the alotted time, you should be allowed to do whatever you want the rest of the time. if the bosses don't like it, they can find more work or consolidate the jobs and cut back on staffing. in my experience there aren't many jobs that actually require you work on them for 8+ hours a day. every office i worked in i never had more than an hour or two's worth of work in the day. the last one i had was even less, and i didn't have internet access. i don't do offices anymore :thumbs-up:
