The only "truth" I've discovered is that the most important thing in your life is the people you share it with, how you treat them, and how they treat you. In the end, money, job, stuff, it's all pretty hollow unless you've got people you care about and who care about you. End of story. The sum total of your life is how you affect others and how they affect you.
