that's about it in a nutshell. by Windows sitting atop the Dos system, it doesn't utilize the processor as deeply as Mac OS's do. However, b/c it sits on top, it crashes cleaner. Mac's, the programs on it dig deep, and work faster, but errors crash the system often. OSX actually helps that, which actually makes it great. But, OSX has major flaws too b/c of the Apple's non-help in pushing it's implementation, leaving it up to manaufacturers.
